"I spoke with Brady...he is the first person to give us concrete advice on how to improve our credit, instead of just saying 'fix your credit'!  We are going to taking his advice completely - getting a couple of secured credit cards and also signing up with a credit repair service he recommended.  He feels that we should be targeting a purchase date of April 30 (he even suggested we might see us at the minimum credit threshold in 90 days) - clearly to take advantage of the first time home buyers credit before it expires!  Thanks for the suggestions, I can't tell you what it means to my husband and myself to have someone be willing to offer us solutions that we can actually accomplish!
